The Loud House is an underrated, entertaining, funny, modern, visually appealing and profound masterpiece with outstanding characters like Lynn Loud Sr., the best thing is Lola Loud, but the rest is equally remarkable, one of the best Nickelodeon Animation Studio achievements ever.

But I don't think I'm that much older, or maybe you're the one with the old soul and we're meeting in the middle. I guess I'm fortunate enough to be able to say something like 'kids today don't know shit' and mean it and not be posing. It's what I truly believe and I don't even have curiosity about anything they're doing. I think I'm being nice just by not cursing them out or talking shit. Really I just feel bad for them despite how annoying they are. Probably they wouldn't be so stupid if they had gotten to enjoy the world in the form I did, I have that kind of attitude though I try to be polite because like I said it's really not their fault. Oh, I know how to date myself: I watched The Adventures of Pete and Pete on broadcast television, on the original airdate. Beat that, anybody else. Yeah, Modest Mouse. Isaac Brock is the greatest lyricist that ever lived and LCW is definitely the best album of the 90s, at least for me. I don't want to sound too Bateman-ish, 'it's hard to pick just one track!' etc., I actually have to look at the album again to see if there's anything that's as easy to listen to as Float On from Good News. My favorite is Doin' The Cockroach but that's not really a Modest Mouse beginner friendly song although it does kick ass. Frankly MM is one of those groups where you don't even have to listen to them to know if you like them, if you just look at their album titles and song names you will probably already know. Try 'Trailer Trash' maybe. West has one of the greatest thematic aesthetics of any album ever made, in that department it's up there with Ziggy Stardust or anything. This Is A Long Drive For Someone With Nothing To Think About has a similar aesthetic. But if you're not in the mood for anything pensive, and since you're drinking, perhaps try Liam Lynch's 'Still Wasted From The Party Last Night'.
